Measuring What Matters: How to Define, Assess, and Improve Impact

This four-session workshop series is designed for nonprofit program development and fundraising professionals seeking to enhance their ability to define, measure, communicate, and improve impact. Participants will move beyond theoretical evaluation concepts to develop actionable tools grounded in their own work. 

This program is co-facilitated by Dr. Luis Chavez and presented in partnership with Truckee Meadows Tomorrow. 

Through interactive sessions, participants will: 

• Define programmatic impact 
• Align programs and outcomes through a clear, evidence-based logic model 
• Identify measurable, evidence-based metrics and appropriate evaluation tools 
• Build systems for ongoing evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement 

Each session (2.5 hours) emphasizes real-world application, allowing participants to leave with customized outcome measurement plans and evaluation frameworks ready for implementation. The program also includes curated resources, best practices, and case studies.
